Saturday Only: The CrossFit Defense Athlete’s Course is a one-day course designed for the CrossFitter who is looking to increase his or her awareness and personal-defense skills. Taking the course provides participants with skills to put into practice immediately.
Saturday & Sunday: The CrossFit Defense Trainer's Course is a two-day, intensive program designed for an L1 Trainer who wants to offer a practical, contemporary and relevant personal defense solution for their clientele or affiliate without deviating from CrossFit methodology.
CrossFitters train for the unknown and unknowable, but elite fitness does not guarantee personal safety. If CrossFit is the study of human movement, CrossFit Defense is the study of human movement as it relates to violence, fear and aggression. Coach Tony Blauer created a physiologic and instinct-based system (the SPEAR System) that is the seamless interface between the high-intensity CrossFit protocol and the ingrained human self-defense system. It is the only personal-defense system in the world based on the body’s physiological response to danger.
